Police find 2.5 kilos of marijuana in Ambergris Caye

By BBN Staff: San Pedro Police made a significant drug bust on the island around 9 o’clock yesterday morning.

That was when officers were tipped that drugs had been stashed at the island’s old cemetery.

When officers arrived at the scene, they found a single rectangular package wrapped up in tape.

After opening the package, officers found marijuana which weighed about 2.5 kilos.

According to police, no one was arrested as no one was in the area at the time.
