By BBN Staff: This morning, Commissioner of Police, Chester Williams, issued a notice to everyone visiting the National Agriculture and Trade show, that the area where alcohol is being sold and consumed, as well as the gambling areas, will be restricted to adults only.

“The number of underage children who were seen consuming alcohol, and under the influence yesterday, is disgraceful,” Williams expressed.

The Commissioner also reminds all vendors that the selling of alcohol to minors is an offence. He warns that anyone found selling or giving alcohol to minors will be prosecuted and asks everyone for their cooperation.

Williams also reminded all motorists to refrain from drinking and driving.

BBN joins Commissioner Williams in asking motorists to drive cautiously, especially while returning home after today’s agric show festivities.
