Team Tech Monkeys win Agric Canoe Race

By BBN Staff: Team Tech Monkeys took first place in the annual Happy Cow – National Agriculture & Trade Show Canoe Race, hosted by Belize Canoe Association (BCA).

The race, held on on Saturday April 27, started at the Iguana Creek Bridge and ended on the Roaring River behind the Show Grounds, with a total of 11 teams competing. Tech Monkeys, a mixed team, finished with a completion time of 2 hours 23 minutes and 34 seconds.

Team Private Belize Adventure came in second with a time of 2:24:24, and Guydis Canoes came in third with a time of 2:24:57.

Tech Monkeys and Guydis had recently faced off in the annual Easter Monday Canoe Race, hosted by the BCA and the Sittee River Village Council. In that race, Guydis had placed first and Tech Monkeys third.
