PM Barrow to host ‘Post ICJ Referendum’ press conference today

By BBN Staff: Prime Minister Dean Barrow is scheduled to host a press conference today following the results of Belize’s historic national referendum.

The press conference will be held at 2pm at the Conference room of the Belize Civic Center.

65% of registered electors participated in the national referendum where the majority voted a resounding ‘Yes’ to the ICJ.

This referendum gives the Government of Belize the mandate to seek a final settlement to Guatemala’s claim on Belize’s territory to the International Court of Justice (ICJ) for final settlement.
