Police detain three for murder of Denzel Flowers

By BBN Staff: Last night Denzel Flowers, 27, was murdered in Belize City.

Official police reports indicate that the mechanic was found with four gun shot wounds to the chest, one to the right arm and two to the left arm.

Initial investigations revealed that he was standing in front of T & R Grocery Store & Fast Food on Central American Boulevard when he was approached by an armed assailant.

That man took out a firearm and fired several gunshots at him causing the fatal injuries. 

Denzel Flowers was pronounced dead upon arrival at 7:40 p.m. at the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital.

Three persons have since been detained.
