Santa Theresa villagers say police stole rosewood

By BBN Staff: Villagers from Santa Theresa are outraged this morning, alleging that a police officer illegally harvested Rosewood.

The group of villagers, which include the village’s Alcalde and Deputy Alcalde, say that the illegal logger entered the village around 6:00 p.m. yesterday and did not leave until 4:30 a.m. today with the illegally harvested rosewood. The villagers told PGTV’s Will Maheia that they tried to stop him from leaving the village and even set chase when the officer tried to escape but were unable to catch up to him.
