Masked men tie, beat, and rob security officer near Mile 44

By BBN Staff: Police are investigating an armed robbery that occurred yesterday morning at a farm near Mile 44 on the George Price Highway.

Marvin Vanzie,33, the manager of the farm told police that around 8 am, Juan Garcia, the watchman was tied up in the security booth by 4 masked men.

One of the men had a gun and the others had knives.

 Garcia was beaten and his monies were stolen.

Quick police response led to the apprehension of one person.

Police investigation continues.
