Businesswoman held up at gunpoint in Belize City

By BBN Staff: Authorities are investigating an aggravated burglary that occurred early this morning in Belize City.

Businesswoman Jian Hong Wu told police that around 12:15 am, she was entering her yard on Leslie Street, Belize City when 3 masked men held her up.

Wu was taken into her home and tied up.

The thieves then searched the house and stole an undisclosed amount of cash, an assortment of electronics, and (1) 9 mm glock pistol loaded with (6) live rounds of ammunition. 

An investigation is ongoing.
