By BBN Staff: Educators across Belize are today celebrating National Teacher’s Day.

Saint Ignatius High School in Santa Elena town honored educators at the institution with a Teacher Appreciation day today while other educators went on field trips for some well-deserved ‘rest’ and ‘relaxation’.

Business entities like Smart Belize offered free phone credit to random teachers and surprised teachers with special gift baskets.

The Ice Cream Shoppe in San Ignacio is also offering 50% off all ice cream scoops and sundaes for teachers today.

So, remember to thank a teacher and show a little appreciation for their guidance and support.
