By BBN Staff: Months after the disappearance of Belize City resident, Anisha ‘Anny’ Young, the family still has not gotten closure.

Young went missing on December 8, 2018, and her family has not heard anything from her since then.

The family along with activist Jose Espat conducted searched with the hope of finding some clue to lead them to her.

On December 29, 2018, the family found a shallow grave in Maskall Village.

The scene was processed and the items found were collected. A pathologist later confirmed the items were human remains.

However, police could not determine if they are the remains of Young.

The samples were sent for further testing.

The results came back and sources confirmed that they do not match those of Anny.

The family continues to seek assistance from the public to locate their loved one.
