Woman robbed of over $1,000 in items

By BBN Staff: Authorities are investigating an armed robbery that occurred on May 16, 2019.

According to reports, Susy Lin,25, told police that around 8:40 pm, she was walking on Newtown Barracks, Belize City en route to work when she was approached by one man.

The man was armed with a gun, pointed the weapon at her and demanded her purse.

The purse had personal items valuing a total of $1,640.

Police are investigating.
