Lincoln Bejerano captured in Guatemala after 3 years on the run

By BBN Staff: On Friday, BBN reported that Belizean authorities had detained Lincoln Bejerano who was on the run for 3 years.

Bejerano escaped police custody in Belmopan in 2016. Bejerano had been charged for the murder or taxi man Isidro Suar.

Assistant Commissioner of Police, Joseph Myvette today informed that Bejerano was charged in Guatemala for a crime and when he paid the fine, he was deported to Belize on May 17.

He was taken into custody immediately, arrested and charged for ‘escape’.
