Police: Dispute may have caused shooting incident

By BBN Staff: Authorities are investigating another shooting incident that occurred on Friday night.

Around 10:30 p.m., police visited the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital and saw two men suffering from gunshot injuries.

William Lewis, Rahim Staine and some other friends were reportedly socializing at Lewis’ home in Belama Phase 2 when a lone gunman emerged from some bushes and began to fire shots at them.

Police believe that one of the men at the house may have been the intended target because of an ongoing dispute between a group of men from Belama Phase 1 and Belama Phase 2.

Police have detained two persons for questioning.
