Man struck with concrete dies

By BBN Staff: Corozal police are investigating the death of Jesus Armando Mossiah.

Sometime before 8 o’clock last night he was seen motionless on 7th Avenue.

When officers took a closer look at him he was seen with a large laceration to the right side of his forehead and the right side of his temple.

He was transported to the Corozal Community Hospital for medical attention but he later succumbed to his injury whilst undergoing treatment.

Initial Investigation revealed that he was involved in an altercation with a man who struck him to the head with a concrete.

Police are investigating.
