Driver served with notice of intended prosecution after fatal road traffic accident

By BBN Staff: Erik Ermoff has been served with a notice of intended prosecution following a fatal road traffic accident.

As we had previously reported, he was driving a Freightliner Towhead which collided into a Ford Ranger Truck driven by Mario Chan yesterday afternoon.

Chan died while being transported to the Northern Regional Hospital. His wife, Ramona Chan, died immediately.

Investigations revealed that Chan was northbound but while near mile 72 of the Philip Goldson Highway he made a left turn across the highway to head on the San Narciso road.

That was when the Towhead in the opposition direction struck him.
