Councilor Micah Goodin hosts fundraising barbecue

By BBN Staff: We had previously reported that Belize City Councilor, Micah Goodin, was seeking to establish a scholarship fund.

Today a fundraiser is underway at the Constitution Park in Belize City.

The first initiative is a barbecue fundraiser.

We spoke to Goodin today who encouraged the public to support.

“We want to produce more graduates,” he said.

This fund, he says, is to assist tertiary level students with a partial scholarship.

The aim is to raise $10,000 to benefit 20 students.
