PSU elects a new president and executive

By BBN Staff: The Public Service Union(PSU) elected a new president in elections held yesterday.

In the race for president, Gerald Henry topped the polls with 209 votes.

Following behind him was incumbent president, Dareth Cayetano, who received 76 votes.

In the race for second vice president, Jacqueline Willoughby led the way with 134 votes.

In second place was Delilah Ayala with 96 votes.

In third place was Jerdy Bruce with 69 votes.

In the rally for Secretary General, Trisha Perez emerged victorious with 221 votes.

Her challenger, Mario Caliz, was able to grab 75 votes.

Finally, for the post of Councillor, Phillip Tate won hands down with 236 votes.

Second, to him was Felipe Ramclam with 178 votes.

Ginnel Ozaeta ranked third in this category.

We note that for the last PSU election in 2017 Obermayor had defeated Henry by 88 votes.

Henry will now serve in the capacity of president until 2021.
