Woman found dead in Belize City has been identified

By BBN Staff: BBN had previously reported that a woman was found dead in downtown Belize City.

We can confirm that she is Stephanie Lozano, 38.

In recent years Lozano had become a fixture in downtown Belize City, and brought happiness and joy to city residents and visitors.

Despite her many struggles, she was charismatic and full of energy.

She would often be seen singing, dancing or giving stories to anyone who would listen.

We are saddened to learn that she passed away due to medical complications.

May she rest in peace and it is our hope that the happiness she shared remains in our hearts and mind in her aftermath.
