Five Twin-Town students top PSE scores

By BBN Staff: Five students from San Ignacio and Santa Elena achieved high scores on the 2019 Primary School Examinations.

The Ministry of Education today released the list of the top 25 PSE scorers countrywide.

Jasmine Espat of Saint Andrews Anglican topped the country earning a whopping 386 points out of 400.

Emeleigh Joann Kib of Faith Nazarene Primary took 5th place earning 376 points, Davina Sosa from Santa Elena Primary took 8th place earning 373 points, Tomas Serrut took 9th place earning 372 points and Giovanna Campos took 10th place earning 371 points.

A total of 7,015 Belizean students from 273 schools across the country sat the exam.

The PSE assesses achievements of curriculum content and skills in the following 4 areas: English, Math, Social Studies and Science.
