John Saldivar launches youth brigade

By BBN Staff: Belmopan Area Representative, John Saldivar, is gearing up for the convention to become the next leader of the United Democratic Party (UDP).

In doing so he has launched a youth brigade to help guarantee victory against his opponents.

On Saturday Saldivar officially launched the brigade at the George Price Center in Belmopan, Cayo.

He was endorsed by Belmopan Mayor, Khalid Belisle and Punta Gorda Mayor, Ashton Mckenzie.

Both Mayors pledged to work hard and smart to ensure a victory for Saldivar.

It is not yet known when the leadership convention will be held although outgoing Prime Minister and leader of the UDP, Dean Barrow, has indicated elections will not be held before November 2020.
