Man Arrested For Stealing Vehicle License Sticker From City Hall

By Aaron Humes: David Dion Tillett,26, a driver and heavy machine operator was caught by police in possession of a vehicle license sticker which is the property of the Belize City Council.

He was charged with handling stolen goods and dishonestly assisting in the retention of the sticker on Friday, June 7, 2019.

In court, Tillett pleaded not guilty with an explanation but Senior Magistrate Aretha Ford explain to him that since he pleaded not guilty to the charge, he need not explain.

There was no objection to bail and so he was granted bail by Senior Magistrate, Aretha Ford in the sum of $600 plus one surety of the same amount.

Tillett is due back in court on August 6, 2019.
