Posted: Wednesday, June 12, 2019. 3:12 pm CST.

By BBN Staff: Today, the family and friends of Alarice Andrewin bid her their final farewell.

Andrewin’s memorial service was held this morning at Wesley Methodist Church on Albert Street. Andrewin, who was the acting principal at Excelsior High school had spent years teaching English Literature at Wesley College and was thus intimately acquainted with Wesley Church.

Her untimely death made national headlines last week, as she was one of three victims found dead in a house at Mile 10 1/2 on the George Price Highway. The other two victims were Vidal Antonio Yuman, a tenant renting the house from Andrewin, and his girlfriend Maria Juarez who was visiting from Guatemala at the time.

Police have since arrested and charged Kyle Aswan Zetina, 24 and  Shawn Flores, 18 for the heinous crime. Commissioner of Police, Chester Williams, had pledged that the department will do all it can to ensure that the case is properly prepared for when the matter goes to trial.
