Robbers target Bowen & Bowen delivery truck

By BBN Staff: Belize City police are investigating a robbery, which occurred on Gabourel Lane at midday yesterday.

According to police reports, a salesman of Bowen & Bowen was alone, parked on Gabourel Lane inside his assigned delivery truck.

That was when he was approached by two men, one of whom pointed a black .9mm pistol to his chest and relieved him of a cell phone, his wallet containing $20 and other identification cards as well as the key for the delivery truck.

The other robber took the proceeds from the day’s sales to the tune of  $1,000.

The two robbers then escaped on separate bicycles on Hudson Street.

Police are investigating.
