Tirone Martinez charged with attempted murder

By BBN Staff: Tirone Jason John Martinez, 18, will spend the next few months of his life on remand at the Hattieville prison.

That is because police charged him for the June 9th shooting of Eric Hernandez in Dangriga, Stann Creek.

He was charged with the offenses of ‘attempted murder’ and ‘use of deadly means of harm’.

On June 9th, Hernandez was on Riverside Street in the culture capital when a man walked up to him and shot him in the upper left shoulder.

He was admitted in a stable condition at the Southern Regional Hospital.
