By BBN Staff: Today, persons interested in owning their own home flocked to the Atlantic Bank Branch in Albert Street in Belize City to meet with various realtors at the bank’s second real estate fair.
The event gathered companies such as Vista Real Estate, Century 21, Keller Williams, Matus Real Estate, Western Pines, ReMax, 4Realty, as well as contractors, and architects CP Buildings and Vision Architects. Visitors to the event could see pictures of homes and lots for sale, get information on prices, financing and even speak to the realtors about questions they might have. Companies were also taking appointments to facilitate viewings of homes and lots for potential customers.
Ronnier Balan Sales Officer at Atlantic Bank explained that the fair features information on developed properties as well as land. He said that the bank decided to host the fair given the attractive interest rates being offered on mortgages that it is offering.
“…owning a home is a part of what we call the Belizean dream. What we realized is that a lot of people are interested in owning their home and I believe it is the opportune time because the rates are good, they are about the best that is in the market right now,” Balan said.
Atlantic Bank also used the opportunity to discuss home equity loans with customers that already have homes, showing them how they can leverage the equity of their homes for loans.
