Police: Female security officer,41, murdered in Ladyville

By BBN Staff: Authorities are investigating the murder of Marsha Sherie Talbott,41, a security officer at Bowen and Bowen Ltd in Ladyville, Belize District.

A police report indicates that around 4:30 am today, authorities arrived at the Bowen and Bowen compound in Ladyville and broke the lock off the main entrance to enter the establishment.

While inside, they saw the body of Talbott with gunshot wounds to her body and a short distance away, they saw Manza Baptist with a gunshot wound to his back.

Baptist was transported to the KHMH where he is listed in a critical condition.

Talbott succumbed to her injuries.

Authorities checked the buildings and determined that there were no signs of forced entry.

An investigation is on-going.
