Man stabbed in apparent weed deal gone bad

By BBN Staff: One man is recovering from stab wounds and another imprisoned over a weed deal reportedly gone bad.

Marlon Casey, 24, has been remanded to the Belize Central Prison after being charged for the attempted murder of Abraham Leslie.

According to reports, on Monday, Casey bought an amount of weed from Leslie but later noticed that the amount he received was less than what he paid for.

Casey confronted Leslie and the men began to argue.

This is when Casey allegedly stabbed Leslie.

Casey was taken into custody and has been charged with one count of ‘attempted murder’, ‘use of deadly means of harm’ and one count of ‘dangerous harm with a deadly instrument’
