Taiwan hands over new drivers license system

By Aaron Humes: The Belize Motor Vehicle Registration and Licensing System (BMVRALS) is soon coming on stream.

Developed with the support of the Republic of China (Taiwan), Minister of Transportation and NEMO Edmond Castro says Belize is now on par with our neighbors in being able to track drivers and vehicles coming in and out of Belize.

Castro hailed the level of technology being implemented to standardize systems countrywide and said it removes a potential embarrassment in international travel.

The system is part of the Transportation master plan adopted by Government last year.
