By BBN Staff: Police today confirmed two separate incidents involving suspected narcotics trafficking via separate planes.
In the first instance, police say last Wednesday they found a single engine white and maroon aircraft on a feeder road west of Blue Creek, Orange Walk.
The area was canvassed and no items were found.
According to officers, the aircraft had been burnt and its origin remains unknown.
The second incident occurred yesterday before 6:00 a.m.
Police confirmed that 206 gallons of aviation fuel was found in a grassy area on the Monkey River Road.
According to police no one was in the area at the time of the discovery nor were any other items found.
