Police: Suspects detained in case of men found dead near Mapp Caye

By BBN Staff: Today police confirmed that several suspects have been detained and several statements have been recorded in connection with the discovery of the bodies of Allison Jones and Jamal Martinez.

Police have also indicated that it is an open investigation but refuse to go into any details of the case.

At this time all the press knows is that both bodies were found on Saturday in a lagoon near Mapp Caye.

We also know that these two deceased persons were on a trip with three other men who were similarly found shot dead.

It is left to be seen if any of the detainees will face criminal charges.
