Belize loses 2 and wins 2 in 4th Central American Volleyball Championship

By BBN Staff: Team Belize remains hopeful in the Fourth Central American Volleyball Championship.

Today the under 23 team lost a testy battle to Costa Rica in a final score of 3-1. Belize won the first set against Costa Rica 25 to 22, and lost the second set in a nail biter, then went on to lose the next two sets to the Central America’s powerhouse.

However, yesterday the team defeated Panama in a final count of 3-0.

Before that Nicaragua fell to Belize in a final score of 3-1.

Earlier in the competition Belize lost its first game to Honduras at 3-1. However, the team continues to remain hopeful.

The next game for Team Belize is against Guatemala on Friday, 28th June at 2:30 p.m. Belize time.
