COMPOL opens new Police Daycare Center

By BBN Staff: Commissioner of Police, Chester Williams along with the first female Belize Police Force Officer, who was enlisted in the 1960’s recruitment – Marie Henry and Pastor Enfield Gordon, yesterday inaugurated the 1^st of its kind Police Day Care Center.

The day care center was named Marie Henry Day Care Center in honor of the 1^st woman police officer in Belize.

The Police Day Care Center is located at the bottom left side of the Raccoon Street Police Building in Belize City.

The center caters to children of police officers & has a professional supervised system of 25 babies/kids from zero to twelve years.

The center will be open between the hours of 7 am to 6 pm for only $40 per week.

The Belize Police Department extends gratitude to A.C.P. Dezerie Phillips Magdaleno and all the civilians who coordinated and assisted in making the daycare possible.
