By BBN Staff: Minister of National Security John Saldivar will be meeting with Belizeans in the diaspora on Sunday, June 30.
Saldivar announced yesterday that he will be meetings with Belizeans in Los Angeles, California for a “Meet and Greet” session, while on his way back from the Republic of China (Taiwan).
Saldivar intends to engage the diaspora with updates on pertinent issues affecting Belize including the decision to take the Guatemalan
territorial dispute to the International Court of Justice (ICJ) and the country’s current crime situation.
The two-hour meeting will be held at the Little Belize restaurant located at 217 Nutwood, Los Angeles, California.
Saldivar had traveled to Taiwan to mark the 30th anniversary of Bilateral relations between the two countries. During his trip, he met
with top officials from the Taiwanese ministries of Defense and Foreign Affairs.
