By BBN Staff: The Belize Police Department is trying to ascertain the circumstances that led to the discovery of the body of 58-year-old, retired British national Phillip Norman Crabtree.
Police say they found his body around 6 a.m. yesterday floating in the water on the sea shore in Placencia. Police say they also observed a cut wound above the left eye and an abrasion on the inner right hand.
“Initial investigations revealed that on June 27, 2019, about 7:00 p.m., Philip Norman was seen socializing with others and on Friday 28th June 2019, about 6:00 a.m., his body was found,” the department said.
The matter is under investigation.
