By BBN Staff: Two videos went viral minutes ago on social media, the first one shows a fight inside a boat that is preparing to leave Caye Caulker.
The scuffle inside the boat resulted in police officers being called to attempt to pacify the situation.
However, the 2nd video shows an officer choking a young man until the young man is rendered unconscious while passengers on the boat continue to hurl insults at the young man who is detained.
The identity of the young man is unknown but in the 2ndvideo, passengers shout homophobic insults at the young man.
June is celebrated by many as PRIDE month as an opportunity for members of the LGBT community to celebrate their love.
BBN will seek a report from authorities on this issue.
