Authorities seek driver responsible for fatal hit and run

By BBN Staff: Authorities are looking for the driver of a white van that reportedly knocked down a 20-year-old volunteer BDF.

Police reports say that San Ignacio Police responded to the traffic accident report around 7:30last night near Running W on the George Price Highway.

There, police saw Charles Bell Jr., 20, of Blackman Eddy, Cayo.

Bell had sustained injuries on his face.

Bell was on a black Lifan motorcycle traveling from the direction of Central Farm towards Esperanza Village when a white minivan that was traveling in the same direction knocked him off his motorcycle.

Bell was transported to San Ignacio hospital thereafter to the Western Regional Hospital where he died this morning.

Police are investigating.
