9 people charged for drug trafficking in San Pedro

By BBN Staff: Nine people have been charged for drug trafficking in San Pedro, Ambergris Caye.

According to reports, police conducted a joint operation at the residences of Alexander Fitzgibbon Sr., and Lucio Salazar, two fishermen of the Boca del Rio area.

 During the search, police discovered 294 grams of crack cocaine, 89 grams of powdered cocaine, (101) 5.56 live rounds, and 54 grams of cannabis.

Police arrested and charged Alexander Fitzgibbon Sr., Karla Salazar, Antonio Ortiz, Brian Ack, Selfa Salazar, Wilmer Ortiz, Jeffrey Alegria, Lucio Salazar and Karen Santos for the offense of drug trafficking.
