By BBN Staff: The Belize Olympic & Commonwealth Games Association (BOCGA) announced today that the Olympic Day event scheduled for 1 p.m. today has been postponed due to the day’s heavy rains.

The event, which was to be the first-ever celebration of Olympic day in Belize, has been recheduled for Sunday, July 14.

The BOCGA coined the event to raise awareness about the Olympic mivement and encourage sporting activity as a part of a healthy lifestyle.
