Wet Sunday in Belize after an extended dry

By BBN Staff: The weather forecast, prepared by the National Meteorological Service, calls for cloudy skies, showers and thunderstorms over most areas today, and mainly over the southern and coastal areas tonight. The wet weather began yesterday afternoon with showers over the southern and central Belize.

Today’s high temperatures will range from 86 degrees fahrenheit on the coast to 88 degrees fahrenheit inland and 80 degrees fahrenheit in the hills. Tonights lows will reach 80 degrees fahrenheit on the coast, 73 degrees fahrenheit inland and 68 degrees in the hills.

Winds will blowing in an easterly direction between 10-20 knots and the sea state will be choppy.

The sun will set at 6:31 p.m. and will rise tomorrow morning at 5:24 a.m.
