Child cancer patient needs urgent medical transport to Merida, family needs assistance

By BBN Staff: Cordelah Duran, eight-year-old cancer warrior battling leukemia is in need of urgent medical evacuation to Merida and her family is appealing to the public to help make that happen.

Delilah Arana, Cordellah’s mother, explained that the child’s condition took a turn for the worst last night and she began having seizures while in the Intensive Care Unit at the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital. Doctors have told Arana that she needs to be taken, by ambulance to Merida for her to have a fighting chance.
