Child playing with matches causes house fire

By BBN Staff: The home of Georgeville resident, Antonio Diaz was partially destroyed by fire yesterday evening.

A police report indicates that Diaz’s 4-year-old son was playing with matches and reportedly lit the house on fire.

The 60×20 home was not insured and the estimated cost of the damages is yet to be ascertained.

Police investigation continues.
