6 police officers and 1 civilian honored by Office of COMPOL

By BBN Staff: On Friday, the Office of the Commissioner of Police (COMPOL) Chester Williams held a recognition award ceremony for 6 police officers and 1 civilian for their outstanding performance, bravery, and heroism in 2 separate incidents.

According to a statement from the Belize Police Department Public Relations Facebook page, the civilian was honored for successfully apprehending a robber at Puma Gas Station in Belmopan on July 7th, 2019, and the 6 police officers were recognized and praised for not only arresting 6 persons in a robbery that occurred at Cooking Masters Restaurant in Belize City but  for also recovering 2 firearms and many rounds of ammo from the robbers.

The Office of the COMPOL thanks and salutes the officers and civilian for the great job that they performed.
