Hattieville construction worker charged for murder

By BBN Staff: Jovi Hernandez,19, a construction worker of Hattieville has been charged for the murder of Nixon Mata Pinto, which occurred on July 16.

Mata Pinto was murdered while he was waiting for bus at the corner of Western Avenue and George Price Highway.

According to reports, Pinto and Hernandez were sitting under the bus shed when they began to argue.

Hernandez then stabbed Pinto to his chest.

Pinto was transported to the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
