Leroy Haultzes charged for ‘conspiracy to commit murder’

By BBN Staff:  Leroy Haultzes, 23, of Cemetery road, Belize City was charged on July 18 for the crime of ‘conspiracy to commit murder’.

Haultzes is accused of murdering Belize City businessman, Jose Hilario Diaz on July 16 in Belize City.

According to reports, Diaz was under a shed with a zinc roof alone on Cemetery road when a lone gunman approached and fired shots at him and then escaped.

Diaz sustained gunshot injuries to his jaw.

He was transported to Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
