Messenger busted with marijuana

By BBN Staff: A messenger of Belize City was busted with marijuana yesterday.

According to reports, police were conducting a mobile patrol on the Phillip Goldson Highway when they noticed Gian Sosa, a messenger on a motorcycle heading toward Chetumal Street.

Police intercepted him and saw that Sosa threw away a black plastic bag.

Inside of the bag, police found 346 grams of cannabis.

Sosa was detained pending charges.
