Man dies in fatal traffic accident

By BBN Staff: Authorities are investigating a road traffic accident that occurred on the Hummingbird Highway last night.

According to reports, the body of Adar Adad Awe of San Narciso, Orange Walk was found near a Ford Escape with extensive damages.

Awe sustained severe head and body injuries and was pronounced dead by authorities.  

Dario Melendez, 27, of Trial Farm, Orange Walk was with Awe and was taken to the Western Regional Hospital with minor injuries to the head, knee, and body.

The vehicle is registered to Melendez.

An investigation is ongoing.
