Belize City man shot in abdomen

By BBN Staff: Authorities are investigating a shooting incident that occurred last night in Belize City.

Jeffrey Wilton Gomez told police that around 8:47 last night, he was walking on T-Street when two men fired several shots at him.

Gomez sustained gunshot wounds to his abdomen.

He was taken to the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital for medical treatment.

An investigation is on going.
