By BBN Staff: Allyson Major, 36, was shot in the head on July 16th following a police chase through downtown Belize City.
As a result of public outcry for excessive police force upon an unarmed civilian, police launched an internal and criminal investigation.
Today, Commissioner of Police, Chester Williams, indicated that forensic evidence has returned and are apart of a case file submitted to the Office of the Director of Public Prosecution for advice.
He says that by tomorrow, Tuesday, he will know if charges are to be preferred on the officer who pulled the trigger and shot Major in his head causing his death.
