Last night’s shooting victim in critical condition

By BBN Staff: Just before 9 o’clock last night a man was shot in Belize City.

He has since been identified as Rafael Oshon, 27.

Police say he was walking on Central American Boulevard en route to Arlington Drive when two men on a motorcycle approached and opened fire.

He was hit multiple times to the body and transported to the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital where he remains in a critical but stable condition.

Police say that just before this shooting the victim was involved in an altercation in the Jane Usher Boulevard area.

At this time one person has been detained while cops  review cameras in the area.
