By BBN Staff: Sometime around 3:00 p.m. yesterday police were called to the Young Bank area of Roaring Creek village.
There, cops visited the residence of Guatemalan national, Manuel Barrera Vasquez, 78.
When they entered, they found Vasquez in a decomposed state with visible chop wounds to the upper body.
According to cops, they had to break down a door to enter his house as he was locked inside.
They say the last time he was seen alive was on Monday.
As to why anyone would want Vasquez dead, cops are clueless as he was a blind man who played music for a living and had no prior conflicts with anyone.
Robbery has been ruled our as a motive as he was found with his wallet and other possessions in tact.
Cops are seeking one person for questioning.
